What Is It?
A roguelike-inspired city-building game made for Secret Santa Jam 2024.
What Do I Do?
You place buildings chosen from three random options. These buildings change the growth of your city’s stats, like population, money, happiness, and crime. There are also hidden synergies if you place certain buildings next to each other in specific ways.
How Did It Go?
It’s not much of a game. I completely failed to communicate the synergy mechanic to the player at all. To top it off, my Secret Santa giftee actually left the jam right near the deadline, so I couldn’t even get assigned a new one to make a game for.
